It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley Wade Gilkerson of Burkburnett, Texas, born in Oakley, Kansas, who passed away on April 9, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his wife Esther Marie Gilkerson; his children, Kimberly Hall (Daniel), Heather Whited (Cory) and Jami Gallagher (Matthew); his grandchildren, Jordan, Ainsley, Harley, Benjamin and Dakota; his siblings, Lela Zieggelmeier (Jim) of Salina, Lila Krug (Wayne) of Salina, Virginia Reed of Katy, Verna Organ (Bill) of Henderson, Verlin Gilkerson (Liz) of Elk Grove, Wilmer Gilkerson (Gail) of Marysville, Lorraine Samuelson of Oakley and Pam Jackson of Hermitage, Tennessee; and his siblings-in-law, Anne Gilkerson, Kay, Doug Davenport, Marge Shore, Joe, Vicki Halbleib, Tom, Heliana Halbleib, Jim and Renee Halbleib. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
