She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Abney Brown and Chessie Corrine Allford Brown; her former husband Jackson Lee Johnson; her husbands, Charles Barksdale and Jack Johnson; her children, Gary Barksdale, Larry Barksdale (Lisa) and Dianne Johnson Barrett; and her grandchildren, Bill Barksdale (Bonnie), Justin Barksdale (Shannon), Chad Barrett and Ambrely Barrett. She was also cherished by eight great-grandchildren.
