He was predeceased by : his parents, Andy Burge and Ida Burge; his stepmother Martha Burge; and his siblings, Andy Burge, Jr., Mac Burge, Kay Hammonds, Jackie Landreth and Aleen Keen.

He is survived by : his wife Shirley Kyle Burge; his son Kyle Burge (Kim); his grandchildren, Brooke Burge Stovall (Daniell) and Brandon Burge (Sydney Hodo Burge); and his great grandchildren, Weston Stovall and Hayden Stovall.

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorials be made to a Veteran's group of your choice, like K-9 warriors or Wounded Warriors.
