He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Kinkade and Gertrude Kinkade; and his siblings, Peggy Elnora Garrett, Anne Ryder, Gaynell Toney, A. L., Leon, Kenneth, Charles and Jerry Kinkade.

He is survived by: his spouse Floella Kirkland; his children, Martin (Michelle) of Austin and Marcia Pierce of Ft. Worth; his grandchildren, Rene, Joseph, David and Audrey; and his caregiver Tamara Early (Tammy) of Burleson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and countless special friends.
