It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leota Mae McDonald of Burleson, Texas, who passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father German; and her siblings, Robert Fischer, Orval Fischer and Mildred Stagg. She is survived by: her husband George McDonald; and her sons, Wayne (Nancy McDonald), Glenn (Carol McDonald), Keith (Alice McDonald) and Jon (Rebecca McDonald). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (2321 Avenue F, Bay City, TX 77414). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
