Peggy Sue Morton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2023, at the age of 66, Peggy Sue Morton of Burleson, Texas, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert A. Weir and Virginia A. Matthiessen Weir; and her sister Pamela Weir Alfano (Carl) of Las Vegas, NV. She is survived by : her husband Donald James Morton; her children, Mario Robert DeRenzi and Anne Margret Van Heusen (DeRenzi); her children-in-law, Deborah Lynn DeRenzi, Keith Van Heusen, Christopher James Morton (Tina Lovell Morton) and Chad Alan Morton (Suzannah Braun Morton); her grandchildren, Ashlyn Rowlands, Sophia DeRenzi, Madelyn Carter, Maclane Morton, Callahan Morton, Julianna Rowlands, Sadie Rowlands, Dylan Rowlands, Londynn DeRenzi, Alexander Morton and Bryce Van Heusen; her great grandchild Dominic James Kelly; and her siblings, William Weir (Carolyn) of Los Angeles, CA, Patricia Weir Sagastume of Folsom, CA, Mary Weir Billingsley of Folsom, CA and Barbara Weir Manino (Tony) of Granite Bay, CA.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Peggy selflessly and generously donated her body to science with the Willed Body Program at the University of North Texas.
