He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Asbury Parks and Hazel Parks (Parker); his adoptive parents, Asbury Parks and Hazel Parks; his sister Barbara Trauth; his half-siblings, Diana Calder and Calvin Calder; his wife Harriet Parks of Burton; his son Tyler; his daughter-in-law Kelly Parks of Kyle; his granddaughters, Camilla and Madelyn Parks of Kyle; and his half-siblings, Charlotte Law (Randy), Dennie Ray Calder (Renee) and Buddy Choate. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
