She was predeceased by : her parents, Porter Holdbrook and Mary Holdbrook (Harkins); her husband C. M. Erwin; her son-in-law Frank Avens; and her siblings, Hank Holdbrook, Donald Holdbrook, Billie Hooper, Juanita Baxter and Dollie Smith.

She is survived by : her children, Donna Avens of Dean, Texas and Rick Erwin (Beth) of Byers, Texas; her grandchildren, Christia Mayo (Brett), Brad Avens, MegAnn Mayfield (Brock) and Samantha Terrell (Keith); her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Brady Mayo, Aaron, Audrey Avens, Wyatt, Carley, Jaxson Mayfield, Hailey, Bryson, Sadie Kienlen, Whitley, Adi and Kynleigh Terrell; her brothers, Roy Holdbrook (Sharon) of Burkburnett and Tom Holbrook (Billie) of Temple, Oklahoma; and her sister-in-law Freida Holdbrook of Wichita Falls, Texas..
