Though Glenda may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Green and Geraldine Green (Parker); her brother Gregory Wayne Green; and her father-in-law George Dawdy, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Sonny Dawdy of Caddo Mills; her daughter Ashley Polley (Austin) of Caddo Mills; her grandchildren, Pyper, Paisley, Hagen and Georgia; and her mother-in-law Barbara Ann Dawdy. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel (876 Wildcat Way, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the League Street Church of Christ (1100 League St S, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482).
