She was predeceased by: her parents, C. W. "Woodrow" Phillips and Weta Mae Johnson Phillips; her siblings, Charles Phillips, Larry Phillips and Carolyn Beck; and her close friend Joni Curry.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Gray; her daughters, Leette Duran (Eddie) and Dana Jones (Tommie); her grandchildren, Ren Jones (Jennifer), Xavier Verser, Isaah Verser, Marisa Duran, Madison Osorio (Marc) and Andrew Duran; and her sister Dianna Holland.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
