He is survived by : his son Garrett Rathjen (Kaitlyn); his grandchildren, Kayleighann, Reeson and Collier of Premont, Texas; and his siblings, Virginia Sowders of Caldwell, Darrell Rathjen (Nola) and Darwon Rathjen (Connie) of Caldwell. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
