She is survived by: her sister Von Ruth Newsome; her husband Elmer Scott; her children, Latresa Scott and Carl Scott of Houston, Texas; and her sisters, Susan McGruder, Saundra White of McKinney and Janice Crayton (Bobby) of Cedar Hill, Texas.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
