He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Caldwell Godfrey and Franklin D. Godfrey; and his wife Arxavia E. Godfrey. He is survived by: his children, Orlando Godfrey (Robbie), Darren Godfrey (Lisa), Sanciarhea Jones, Garver Godfrey, Richard Godfrey (Denise), Yalani Godfrey, Shynae Godfrey (Julie Jacobson) and Milton Godfrey. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (210 Wilder Dr, Hooks, TX 75561). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
