He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Johnson and Cora Lee Phillips (Colquitt); his siblings, Albert Johnson Jr., Eugene Johnson, Perry Johnson, Jessie Lee Cole, Irene Moore and Essie Lee Cole; and his sons-in-law, Milton Petties and Ray Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Johnson of Camden; his children, Marc Moye (Cheryl) of Lufkin, Rita Jackson (Irving) of Moscow, Shelia Jessie (Herbert) of Moscow, Stephanie Petties of Moscow, Connie Grant of Houston, Toya Hill of Moscow, Mary Elizabeth Kenebrew (Robert) of Newton and De'Monica Jefferson of Humble; and his sister Lynda Cavanaugh of Moscow. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
