She was predeceased by: her parents, James Franklin and Pricie Palestine Harber (Holloway); her husband Marvin Woodrow Simmons, Sr.; and her son Marcus Alton Simmons. She is survived by: her children, Martha Larned, Marlene Stephenson (Oscar), Marvin Simmons, Jr. (Linda), Marshall Simmons and Martin Simmons. She is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, 29 Great-Grandchildren, 18 Great-Great Grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews.
