He was predeceased by : his father Richard Earl Williams Sr.; his brother Thomas 'Tom Williams; his grandparents, Lester, Beatrice Williams and Jack; and his parents-in-law, Don and Jo Wendel of Temple, TX..

He is survived by : his sister Debora Evans of Belton, TX; his nephew Thomas 'TJ Evans of Cameron, TX.; and his mother Jacquelyn "Jackie" Williams of Cameron, TX.

Rickey was named Citizen of the Year in 2023 for his outstanding contributions to the community.
