Henry Lynn Ezell Obituary

Henry Lynn Ezell of Camp Wood, Texas passed away peacefully at his home on November 26th, 2022 surrounded by his family and loved ones. Lynn was born in Osyka, Mississippi on October 6th, 1952 to Neal and Ruth Brown Ezell.

Lynn was raised in Sweeny, Texas and moved to Camp Wood, Texas to retire and enjoy the nature.

Our daddy loved hunting, fishing and most of all he loved our Momma, all his children and spending time with his grandchildren and his great grandchildren.

Daddy married our momma Vicki Huffaker Ezell on January 26th, 1973 and together they had 6 children. Daddy gave his life to the Lord and was baptized at the Nueces Canyon Church of Christ.

Lynn is survived by his loving wife Vicki Huffaker Ezell of 49 years and his 6 children: Vicki and Cody Turner of Brazoria, Texas, Henry Ezell and Mandy of Camp Wood, Texas, Victor Ezell and Lori of Matagorda, Texas, Christy Ezell and Jon of Sterlington, Louisiana, Jason and Halona Ezell of Springdale, Washington, Sumer Ezell of Camp Wood, Texas. And dear Friend Shawn Bernard also of Camp Wood, Texas; Lynn was blessed with 25 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Lynn is also survived by his brothers Ricky Ezell of Louisiana and Vearl and Debbie Ezell of Louisiana; brothers-in-law Glenn Jarrell of Brenham, Texas and Marty Jones of West Columbia, Texas; sister-in-law Kathy and Don Schmersahl of Camp Wood, Texas; brothers-in-law William and Wanda Huffaker of Richwood, Texas, Ernest and Vernette Rowden of Freeport, Texas, Clovis Boatright of New Braunfels, Texas. And many dear friends and family.

Lynn is proceeded in death by his parents Neal and Ruth Brown Ezell, his sisters Debbie Jarrell and Frances Jones, sister in laws Annette Ezell, Becky Yates and Ann Rodriguez, his nephew Don Schmersahl, and his daughter in law Billie Jean Howell.

Our Daddy gave a good fight and he fought a hard battle. He is now pain free and resting in the arms of Jesus.

A Memorial service will be held on December 5th, 2022 at the Nueces Canyon Church of Christ at 10:00 a.m.

A graveside burial will be on December 22nd, 2022 in Sweeny, Texas at 1pm to lay our daddy to rest with his parents and his sisters.
