He was predeceased by: his daughter Terri Maner of Camp Wood; his parents, John Baxter and Lottie Baxter; and his siblings, Willie May Albright, Lona Bell Pope, Claudia Leonard, JD Baxter, Alvin Baxter, Elton Baxter and Roy Baxter.
He is survived by: his wife Jimmie May; his children, Ronnie Baxter (Julia) of Arlington, Texas and Jeanne Wimberley (Ed) of Camp Wood; his granddaughter Cindy Covington (Bobby) of Rankin, Texas; and his sister Darlene Bullard of Camp Wood, Texas. He is also survived by Fourteen grandchildren, Twenty-nine great grandchildren, Seven great-great-grandchildren; Numerous nieces and nephews.
