He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Doughty and Nettie Hyman Doughty; his former wife Minnie Doughty; his wife Charlotte Doughty; his stepson David Westbrook; his granddaughter Stacey Ann Eubank; his brother Charles Doughty; his brothers-in-law, Calvin Cash and Gary Counts; and his nephew Carl "Tutor" Cash.
He is survived by: his daughter Doris Doughty Eubank (Blain Eubank); his stepdaughter-in-law Mary Westbrook (Sandy); and his stepchildren, Bonnie (Clarence Liff), Chuck Bennett, John Bennett, Wanda Ross (Bob Ross), Tony (Teresa Bennett) and Melvin Bennett. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
