He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Brown and Ailsa Brown; and his sister Carolyn Jo Wilburn. He is survived by: his wife Kay Brown; his daughters, Wendi Stephens (Kirk) and Hilary Beedy (Blake); his grandchildren, Garrett Stephens (Morgan), Grayson Stephens, Lily Cochran (Reagan), Sophie Stephens, Berkley Beedy, Brooklyn Beedy, Breckyn Beedy and Beckett Beedy; his great grandchild Miller Kay Stephens; and his sister Sandy Lyons of Canadian.
Viewing was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian (203 S 3rd St, Canadian, TX 79014). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Christian Church (402 E Purcell Ave, Canadian, TX 79014).
