Marvin Giambernardi Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marvin Giambernardi of Canyon Lake, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 25, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marvin Giambernardi to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Giambernardi and Laura Giambernardi. He is survived by: his wife Ann Giambernardi; his sons, Troy Giambernardi (Jadene) and Chris Giambernardi; and his grandchildren, Amy Wintz (Danny), Julie Rastrelli (Leonard), Marty Matheaus, Lauren Van Wylick (Chase), Katelyn Giambernardi, Ashley Giambernardi and Kara Matheaus. He is also survived by numerous nieces, cousins, in-laws.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home (189 S Seguin Ave, New Braunfels, TX 78130). A rosary will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church (386 N Castell Ave, New Braunfels, TX 78130). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Fort Sam Houston Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to support Hope Hospice and the New Braunfels Conservation Society.
