Rick Schatz Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 24, 2024, at the age of 71, Rick Schatz of Canyon Lake, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Rick may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his son Kris; and his grandson Jorgen Romero. He is survived by: his wife Kathie; his children, Camie Romero (Tom) and Dustin Schatz; his brother Berle Schatz (Sherry); and his caregiver Lauren. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rader Funeral Home (401 N Martin St, Kilgore, TX 75662). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
