With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Martinez Sr. of Canyon Lake, Texas, born in Sinton, Texas, who passed away on February 7, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Lola Amador and Walter John Martinez. He is survived by : his wife Anita DeLeon Martinez; his sons, Walter N Martinez Jr. (Carolyn Dale Martinez) and Hunter John Martinez (Deanne Martinez); his grandchildren, Molyne Martinez Hacker (Michael Neal Hacker), Brandon J. Martinez, Hunter John Martinez Jr., Matthew Alexander Martinez and Rebecca Marie Martinez; and his stepgrandchildren, Erika Kohler and Corey Mumma.

In leu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Walter N. Martinez' name to the Fisher House Foundation (fisherhouse.org), and/or The Humane Society of New Braunfels (hsnba.org).
