It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gonda Stayton of Canyon, Texas, who passed away on May 12, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Stayton and Mozelle Stayton (Harris); and her brothers, Leroy and Richard Denney. She is survived by: her sons, Liam and Owen Stayton; and her sisters, Bernice Nichols, Valerie Johnson and Goldie Stayton.
