With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Samantha Jo Loftus of Canyon, Texas, born in Hastings, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2024 at the age of 42. She was predeceased by : her brother Zachary Dunbar; and her grandparents, Betty, Judd and Irene. She is survived by : her aunts and uncles, Gloria, Dee, Mark and Dale; her son Chaleb; her parents, Ron Dunbar (Lorrie) and JoAnn Dunbar; her grandmother Pat Wich; her sisters, Melissa Anderson (Mark), Haley Plogger (Josh) and Riley Steffen (Taylor); and her stepsiblings, Brandy and Derek. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Elks Country Club (3050 E South St, Hastings, NE 68901).
