She was predeceased by : her parents, John David and Vinnie Mae Burkett (Taylor); her husband Benny Allison; and her close friend Pat Waldrip. She is survived by : her children, Angela Karhu (Brian), Andrea Hoffman (Will) and Darrell Miles (Regina); her grandchildren, Tyler Beckner, Zack Hukill, Ryan Karhu, Violet, Lincoln, Clementine Hoffman, Abby James (Dustin) and Brittany Sullivan (Scott); her siblings, Johnnie Raymond (Johnny), Jim Burkett (Sheila) and Lynda Lindsey; her friend Laverne Simmons; and her pet Shadow.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brooks Chapel (1702 5th Ave, Canyon, TX 79015). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
