Mata of Carrizo Springs, Texas, born in Moorhead, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2025 at the age of 73. He was predeceased by: his wife Maria T. Mata; and his siblings, Genaro Mata, Candelario Mata, Miguel Mata Jr., Adan Mata, Jose Mata Sr., Esteban Mata and Eva Ochoa.
He is survived by: his sons, Enrique T. Mata Jr. and Fernando T. Mata; and his siblings, Cruz Mata and Teresa Mata. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and countless nieces and nephews.
