He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Merle Gillard; his wife Linda Evans Gillard; his children, Kim Freeman, Kathy Bull (Russell) and Paul Gillard; his grandchildren, Benjamin Thompson (Chelsea), Andrew Freeman and Molly Freeman; his great grandchildren, Eisley and Johnny Thompson; his brothers, Willard Gillard (Jeannie), Archie Gillard (Sherry) and Larry Gillard (Deanna); his sister-in-law Carolyn Evans; his mother Inez Gillard; and his grandparents, Gus, Bertha Gillard and Irma. He was also cherished by his sister.
