Though John William may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John William leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his father David; and his uncle Tom. He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his mother Judy; his brothers, Jeff (Peggy Sue) and Jason (Sheri); and his uncles, John Gillis, Sr. and Melvin Gillis. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews; and a host of friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (1401 Carrollton Pkwy, Carrollton, TX 75010).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Worship Arts Ministry at First Baptist Church at The Fields in memory of John Gillis.
