He was predeceased by: his parents, William Robert and Alice Gertrude Gower Ellis; his son Jeffrey William Ellis; and his siblings, William Donald Ellis, Esterlene Barnett, Evangeline Clinard and Marjorie June Crutcher.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Ellis; and his siblings, Robert Bell Ellis, Mary Dimple Baltrop, Mac Welbur Ellis, Joe Bailey Ellis (Jeri) and Bonnie Baltrop.
