It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louisa Martel Ayala of Carthage, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on July 31, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel Hernandez Ayala; her siblings, Paul Martel, Sr. and Herlinda Solano; and her grandson Martin Rafael Perez, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Rosalinda Rivera (Paul Jimenez), Sandra Lavender (David Sr.), Esther Ayala Hinson (Walter Willbanks), Isabell Gibbs (Isreal) and Daniel H. Ayala, Jr. (Kelly); her siblings, Mike Martel Jr. (Juanita), Raymond Martel (Olga), Joe Martel Sr., Antonio "Tony" Martel (Mary), David Martel and Chonita Torres (Rodlfo); and her great great grandchild Alexander Atkiels. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren.
