It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Gene Steinbach of Castroville, Texas, who passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Steinbach and Lola Lee Woelke Steinbach. He is survived by: his wife Florence Steinbach of Castroville; his children, Justin (Megan Steinbach), Jerrad (Lauren Steinbach) and Jamie Steinbach of San Antonio; his grandchildren, Lucas, Samantha, Harper and Harrison Steinbach; and his siblings, Ruth Steinbach, Judy Northam (John) and Dennis Steinbach (Ione).
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home (1016 Lorenzo St, Castroville, TX 78009). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
