He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Chandler and Myrta Chandler of Shelbyville Texas; and his siblings, Frank Chandler Jr. (Buddy), Carmen Duncan of Wichita Falls and Mildred McCary of Shelbyville, Texas..

He is survived by : his wife Peggy Chandler of Cedar Creek; his sons, Thomas Chandler (Gloria) and Curtis Chandler (Lorena); his granddaughters, Amanda Chandler, Ashley Chandler, Elizabeth Chandler and Melodie Chandler; and his sisters, Cora May (Charles Wimberly) and Avis Duncan.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Disabled American Veterans, the Wounded Warriors Project, or the building fund of Rosanky Baptist Church.
