She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Peel and Myrtle Peel; her husband David Garey; and her siblings, Otis Peel, Leamond Peel, Leon Peel, Rosealla Hammonds, Lenoria Dowdy and Lera Von Peel.
She is survived by: her daughter Glenda Richardson (Grant); her grandchildren, Les Garey (Karen), Lesley Ashford (Brad), Kristen Richardson, Glenn Garey (Stephanie), Lindsey Warren (Shawn Warren), Alyssa Minor (Brady) and Rachael Jirrels (Tim); and her great grandchildren, Bryson, Makayla, Alexis, Eli, Dylan, Everly, Hudson, Emerson, Lyla, Micah, Knox, Adelaide, Liam, Palmer, Harper and Margot. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, her family would very much appreciate donations to Midtowne Assisted Living, who have started a non profit foundation in honor of Lillian Garey that will assist residents due to financial hardship.
