With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Verdie Wellborn of Center Point, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 20, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, August Duecker and Elsie Duecker (Kuhlmann); and her grandson Thomas Lee Wheatcraft. She is survived by: her husband Edward Lee; her children, John Allen Wellborn (Dianna) of Ingram, TX, Norma Jean Wheatcraft (Jason) of Kerrville, TX and Linda Kay Wimer (Dale) of Fremont, NE; her grandchildren, Skylia McLaughlin, Tylor Jay Wheatcraft, Victoria Wimer and Carter Wimer; her stepgrandchildren, Betty Wright, Justin Thompson II and Nykoole Rowan; her siblings, Eleanor Rose Mills of Felicity, OH and Elgin August Duecker of Fredericksburg, TX; and her brother-in-law Aubrey Mueller of Granite Shoals, TX. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
