She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Eugene Walker and Sybil Clark Walker; her husband Fred Maxwell Reaves; her siblings, Joe Rogers Walker and Patricia; her brother-in-law Kelly Richardson; and her nephew Steven Richardson.

She is survived by : her daughters, JoAnna Reaves and Linda Joyce Gilliam; her son-in-law David Martin; her grandchildren, Christopher Phipps (Shanna), John Marcus Gilliam (Sara), Johna Childress Underwood (Joe) and Lindsay Kae Gilliam; her great grandchildren, Austin Phipps, Daniel Phipps and Baili Proffit; and her grandchildren, Jace, Lily Gilliam, Andrew, Sarah and Jordan Underwood.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home (13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
