Matthew Alexander Sovick Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matthew Alexander Sovick (Centerville, Texas), who passed away on July 16, 2025 at the age of 44. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, William John Sr., Marilyn Sovick, Felix Richard and Anna Elizabeth Mayer. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Sovick; his parents, William John Sovick Jr. (Andrea) and Sandra Marie Sovick; his children, Haley Sovick, Michael Goedicke, Matthew Sovick Jr. and Harley Sovick; his brother William John Sovick, III (Maria); his grandchild Amara Sovick; and his parents-in-law, Brian Laseck and Carol Laseck. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as extended family and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
