He was predeceased by: his parent Georgia Mae Pettigrew Mackey; and his brother Lewis Arthur Pettigrew. He is survived by: his sister Bobbie J. Pettigrew of Chandler, Texas; and his sibling's children, Georgia Pettigrew (Jamie Ervin) and Jacob Pettigrew. He is also survived by great nieces, great nephews, relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John R. Harmon Undertaking Company (1112 N Palace Ave, Tyler, TX 75702). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Antioch Baptist Church (18753 County Rd 2195, Whitehouse, TX 75791).
