It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arturo B. Olajay of Channelview, Texas, who passed away on April 6, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Arturo B. Olajay to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Rica Bautista and Hugo Bautista; and his siblings, Rosie Garing, Lourdes Napisa, Purisima Pecayo, Pedro Cajano, Mariano Jose Garing and Cunigunda Garrido.

He is survived by : his wife Lorna Olajay; and his children, Anna Liza Olajay-Abarquez (Victor Abarquez), Abigal Olajay (Cesar Rocha) and Alexis Olajay (Roxanna Garcia).

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the San Jacinto Funeral Home (14659 East Fwy, Houston, TX 77015). A Mass was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Andrew Roman Catholic Church (827 Sheldon Rd, Channelview, TX 77530).

In lieu of flowers, Arturo's family and friends kindly request donations to be made to their church parish at St. Andrew Church.
