With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Elaine Buchanan of Channelview, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 25, 2025 at the age of 68. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Jr. Buchanan and Myrtle R. Buchanan; her grandparents, Jerry, Isadore Buchanan, Seymour and Bertha McGregor; and her siblings, Herman Buchanan and Jacqueline M. Buchanan.
She is survived by: her siblings, Alma Waldrup of Fort Worth, Ida N. Keller (Ernest) of Dallas, Patricia A. Broussard (Nolan) and Jerry Buchanan III (Gerald) of Houston, Texas.; her aunt Bertha Williams (Clarence); and her uncles, Henry McGregor of Missouri City and Llyod McGregor (Eleanor) of Missouri City. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
