With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnny Edward Wood of Channelview, Texas, who passed away on December 28, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Lamar Edward Wood and Frances Lorring Lofton Wood; his brothers, Charles Franklin Wood and Glen Alan Wood; and his niece Terry Wood.

He is survived by : his wife Karen Sue McManners Wood; his sons, Johnny Edward Wood Jr. and James Allan Wood; his sister Belinda DiStefano; his siblings-in-law, Marsha Wood, Joy Madero, Joe DiStefano, Raul Madero and Larry McManners; his nieces and nephews, Melissa Wood (Missy), Juanita Castle (Jenny), Martha Espinoza, Sierra DiStefano, Charles F. Wood (Bubba), John Espinoza and Richard Espinoza Jr.; and his friend Robert Ewell (Bobby).
