He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Natalia Hinojosa; his parents, Manuel C. Hinojosa and Luisa Segobia; his sisters, Benita Galvan, Maria Arevelo and Rosa Salinas; and his children, Janie Hinojosa, Rosario Cervantes, Margarita Hinojosa (Juan Hinojosa Jr.), Esmeralda Ahumada, Norma Linda Arellano (Dianna Colchado) and Manuel Hinojosa. He was also cherished by 24 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
