She was predeceased by: her daughter Peggy Trent Stewart; and her grandson Trevor Trent. She is survived by: her sister Mary Elizabeth Walling; her son-in-law Tom Stewart (Montana) of Missoula; and her son Jay Trent of Las Cruces, NM. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (307 Ave C NW, Childress, TX 79201). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Carey Baptist Church (7394 Loop 328, Childress, TX 79201). They also entertained in nursing homes until the Covid Pandemic interfered.
