He was predeceased by : his parents, Aurora Montoya Valles and Julio, Sr. Valles; his brothers, Mike Valles and Manuel Valles; and his children, Fernando Valles, Sylvia Marie Valles and Mary Ann Henderson.
He is survived by : his children, Suzanne Butler and David Valles; his siblings, Henry Valles, Raymond Valles (Olivia), Linda Hernandez (Jose) and Lupe Valles (June); his sister-in-law Katie Valles; his grandchildren, Dashawn Butler, Ashley Butler, Ayanna Butler, De'Jon Butler and Cody Henderson; his great grandchildren, Malachi, Josiah, Marlin III, Shawn, Sean, Quentin, Harmony and Giannah; his former life partner Melva Valles; and also, Elva Barrica and Alberto Gonzales, Jr. (Bebe). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
