It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lydia Garcia of Childress, Texas, who passed away on April 18, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lydia Garcia to pay them a last tribute.

As we bid Lydia farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Lydia is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by : her sister Heather Garcia. She is survived by : her mothers, Rebecca Clark Williamson of Childress and Glenna Garcia of Childress, TX; her sons, Matthew Garcia and Ashton Garcia of Childress; and her siblings, James (Christy Garcia), Adrian (Gina Garcia) and Melissa Willis (Anthony). She is also survived by two nieces; one great niece, and two great nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (307 Ave C NW, Childress, TX 79201). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Childress Church of Christ (210 2nd St SE, Childress, TX 79201).
