He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Andrew McAlister Sr. and Ivy Faye Wallace McAlister. He is survived by : his daughters, Teresa Adams (Roger) of Childress and Karen McAlister of Childress; his grandchildren, Nikki Favor (Cody) of Childress, Kassi Lewis of Childress, Harlie of Childress, Thor Meachum of Childress, Tucker Lewis of Childress, Landon Nolan (Allison) of Childress, Hunter Favor of Childress, Keegan Favor of Childress, Kynzlee of Childress and Cole Nolan of Childress; and his sister-in-law Betty Taber of Childress. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
