He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Etheredge and Elena Etheredge; his in-laws, Frank and Quida Condron; his son Jerry "JJ" Etheredge; his son-in-law Ray Blume; his grandson Daniel Reger; and his sister-in-law Frankie Skinner (Charles Skinner).
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Etheredge; his children, Cindy Blume of Henrietta, Texas, Connie Millard (Stephen Laake) and Joe Etheredge (Taresa Hale); and his brother-in-law Carl Condron (Willa) of Robinson, Texas.. He is also survived by his children blessed him with 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (307 Ave C NW, Childress, TX 79201). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (1606 Ave I NW, Childress, TX 79201).
