She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Herman Goode and Willie Lynn Mayes Goode; her husband Louis David Jernigan; and her siblings, Roy Mayes Goode, Dorothy Lynn Clawson, Waurine Johnson and Mary Franks.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Jo Blackmon Shurbet (Jess) and Richard David Jernigan; her grandchildren, Dawn Robertson, Brent Blackmon, Lauren Ek, Justin Jernigan and Jacob Jernigan; her great grandchildren, Bailey, Emberlynn, Everett, Asa, Birdie, Willow, Bodhi, Will, Cara, Jody, Jax, Zak and Sarah Beth; and her sister Jane Pruitt. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
