She was predeceased by : her parents, Alvin Verrett and Irene Verrett (Galloway); her grandchildren, Haley Lynn Lunsford and Mike Dorsett; and her sister Betty Verrett Pittman.

She is survived by : her husband Thomas J. "Butch" Riggins; her children, Richard Riggins (Kelley), Michael Riggins (Rhonda), John Riggins (Moriah), Michelle Dorsett (Rick) and Florence Lunsford (Eddie); her grandchildren, Cortney Stroud, Kaelea Christopher, Katelyn Thomas, Tommie Perry, Traci Dorsett, Nicole Thompson, Jessica Steptoe, Dylan Lunsford, Weston Riggins and Lilli Riggins; her great grandchildren, Harper, Jack Stroud, Saige, Sayler Thomas of Jenna Dorsett, R. J, Perry and Rae Lynn Carter; her siblings, Gerry Cribbs, Helen Howard and Melvin Verrett; and her close friend Mary Ann Holman. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
