He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcello Basquez and Fermina Basquez; and his wife Ollie Verdine Basquez. He is survived by: his daughter Maria Basquez Gibson (Benny) of Beaumont; and his grandson John F. Mouton of Houston. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins as well as other relatives and friends.
